    Hornady 7mm rem mag 162gr eldx

    Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone knows the true/actual velocity that the 162gr eldx bullets shoot out of a 7mm rem mag 24 inch barrel. As I do not have access to a chronograph.

    Lot to lot variation and also barrel to barrel variation. Unfortunately you do need to chrono if you really need to know for sure. I'm sure there's someone on here who can help you out.

    Precision Hunter 162gr ELDX runs through my 24" Tikka lite @ 2900fps av.
