    How to : Hunt Sika Stag, Red Stag, Bush Hunting projectile choice

    Check out Martin Askes Sika deer hunting information on his website, very well written and easy to understand.

    Click on the pdf links and print them all off, store in a folder and read them as your experience grows, there is literally 30yrs of Sika hunting experience being passed on there, for free !!!!!!!!

    Just downloaded them all, I think I have most of the magazines anyway, but this is like a mini bush stalking encyclopedia. Some great info in these articles.

    Rod and Rifle do the same with the Wapiti Blockss and Westland Areas:

    Did you get them printed off ok RR ?

    They are an exceptionally good read on those days better spent in front of the fire

    Printed, ringbindered, read, taken with me on my week hunting sika in Clement Mill rd.

    It was great reference material, for when i saw sign in the bush i could go back to camp and read about what the sign was and what it meant etc.

    Richie here is the Rushy condensed version which you can copy to a square of toilet paper so it will have a dual use in the bush.

    1. Prints on the ground means that deer have walked that way
    2. Chewed out leaves on the ground means that deer have been feeding there
    3. Poop on the ground means that deer have been crapping there .... and finally
    4. Deer on the ground means you have been successful.

    Spring is nearly here, I have just re read Martins info as a refresher and I learn more each time i read it.

    Or the ol brain forgot some of it and I'm kidding myself that I have only just learnt it

    Just think how much i will learn in 5yrs time when i read it again
