How long should i sit and wait-clements mill

Its 11:30am good sign all the way up to multiple clearings. Im sitting on the edge of the largest so far with the wind in my face but is it worth sitting on my ass for 6 hours till dark or should i just keep wandering the bush and forget about it?Name: 20170826_113106.jpg

Too bloody cold to sit down for too long , will keep wandering around and come back if the weather doesnt turn to custard.

Found another couple nice clearings about 300m away so will stick around here for a bit and go through the other one on the way out

@matto1234 Ahh yes that clearing, I was thinking of putting up a coffee shop one spring at the bottom of the clearing - I would do good buisness.
IMO hunt up and over the top of there to the ridge, keep moving SW along that ridge and then hunt north and down one of the north facing feed guts

Edit: also mate, sit back from the clearing so you are in the bush to give you some cover/break up your shape

You didnt loose your paracord by any chance? Thought that might be the case being so close to the road, i dont normally bother with clearings but im trying somewhere different for a change.

For clearings with good sign, I like to sit on them until my arse hurts plus another two hours.

Has been quite a productive technique for me over the last couple of years.

    Cheers

    I hate sitting doing nothing.
This time of year, find sign and sun and they won't be far away.
    That would maybe do it

Looking at the photo it looks like you are right in the clearing, if that's the case I suggest walking back 200 meters to somewhere you can get a good view of it then wait until dark. Sitting on a good clearing is the only way to go, let them come to you. Good luck!

I give it the old another 10 minute trick works almost every time. Our have a sandwich our light up a smoke.
It's like waiting for a buse light a smoke buse turns up.
Our fishing get out your lunch and the lines go nuts
    Give it another 10 and....
    EeeBees and HILLBILLYHUNTERS like this.
It's all fun and games till Darthvader comes along
I respect your beliefs but don't impose them on me.
