How long should i sit and wait-clements mill

Its 11:30am good sign all the way up to multiple clearings. Im sitting on the edge of the largest so far with the wind in my face but is it worth sitting on my ass for 6 hours till dark or should i just keep wandering the bush and forget about it?Name: 20170826_113106.jpg

Too bloody cold to sit down for too long , will keep wandering around and come back if the weather doesnt turn to custard.

Found another couple nice clearings about 300m away so will stick around here for a bit and go through the other one on the way out

@matto1234 Ahh yes that clearing, I was thinking of putting up a coffee shop one spring at the bottom of the clearing - I would do good buisness.
IMO hunt up and over the top of there to the ridge, keep moving SW along that ridge and then hunt north and down one of the north facing feed guts

Edit: also mate, sit back from the clearing so you are in the bush to give you some cover/break up your shape

You didnt loose your paracord by any chance? Thought that might be the case being so close to the road, i dont normally bother with clearings but im trying somewhere different for a change.

For clearings with good sign, I like to sit on them until my arse hurts plus another two hours.

Has been quite a productive technique for me over the last couple of years.

    Cheers

I've been known to sit, overlooking my favourite clearing all day, hugging hot water bottles from 8am to 5pm. Ten to five, four deer appear, take a shot and miss, go home with my front tail between my legs!

Iv never been one to really sit & wait unless you have a lot of scope distance is your friend , small clearings like that just hit them early or late & carry on iv got a spot that is similar in the season deer sign all over it , I have yet to see a deer on it !! they are on it at night so I hunt the bush around it shot 6 so far this year from the immediate area. if your intent on waiting maybe climb that big tree at the back !.
