Actually you were talking about Police training, rounding up a wild cow (which was shown to be impractical on the video), Police lack of common sense and some stupid colour based reason for shooting a cow. That one post spoke volumes about your lack of knowledge in the subjects you'd posted about.

What did you expect them to do? Realistically.

Where would you aim to do that on a moving bovine with a 223 and presumably fmj? without risking a over penetration ?

white officer leaps from moooving car shoots unarmed black cow multiple times

well how much danger was the cow really ? in a 50k zone with plenty of cop cars to at the least aleart others something was up so guess you could rule out crashes so long as no1 was directly infront of it would more than likely not go out of its way to maul anyone ....it wasn't that long ago they used to run herds of them cattle down the main street !! the way it looks from the clip the real danger came from flying bullets not tits n hooves

if they had of let it carry on, and it run over your grandma or child walking to school everyone would be bagging them for doing nothing. they have dealt with it and so can you.

Have a look at the video again, the cow goes right past a disabled person on a wheelchair who was waiting at the pedestrian crossing, on the left hand side of the road. So she's not exactly in a position to get out of the way in a hurry if the cow even turned towards her.

Because the cops didn't know who else was on the road ahead, including any kids, they did the right job and stopped it. Even if it took 10 shots from an AR.

As I said in another post we do a couple of beefys each year its often a different guy that comes out and shoots them/quarters them the last to fellas have both commented on what a good place we have to shoot them as we have a high bank that runs along the back of the property & went on to say how they had been abused by other clients in the past for not shooting there cattle in a bad firing zone for fear of a stray bullet ending up somewhere it shouldn't & like the guy said its him who would get done if anything went wrong so when I saw the cop blazing away in town couldn't help but question it ...so you can like -unlike that as many times as you want why would I give a fuck !

Didn't he use a pistol? Despite the Ar loading seen.
The 9mm wouldn't go through a cows head.
Tap it in the x between the eyes and ears and it'll drop even with a 22, yes it's not easy when the fuckr is chasing you, I no I've done it, more than once.

Hard to see fuck all on that vid which makes a lot of comment here just bull really.
you may know where to shoot them for a brain shot and I may know where to shoot them for a brain shot but that doesnt mean the shot was availabile or that it was a safe shot if it was.

Definitely looks like an Ar to me just after the 1st shot if you can see it against the background.
They shoot remington core lock factory ammo.

Only shot that looks bad to me is the 1st one as the cow charges towards him i would think a head shot would be an option on an angry moving cow, dosnt take much of a head wip to miss. Body shots much safer in a built up area.

naa VC, I'm sure the officer tried calling in the specialist bovine negotiation squad, but apparently they had a crisis situation down in Invercagill this morning.

the next mistake was that the AR in question quite clearly did not have the required level of tacticool accessories to successfully engage an enraged bovine. a laser pointer and foward grip would have gauranteed pole-axing said bovine with a single shot...

lastly, this entire incident has made it clear to me that both urban and rural cops need to be armed with 50cal rifles immediately, and serious consideration should be given to replacing the standard holden patrol cars with humvees, so that in future any pesky cows can just be rammed and run-over without any risk to the population.

righto, who is voting for me as the next police minister
