And with the Tokoroa and Kaingaroa pines now closed, will there be room in the Thames McDonalds car park for the influx of Hilux's this coming week end?

As @hunter308 said, tell the District and or Regional Council.
You would be surprised how close to Thames township the goat cullers used to shoot the local stinkies with suppressed rifles.

Sounds like a job for @kimjon

This reminds me of a story from the same area where a pissed off boar entered a backyard and hurt a kid

Well.. plenty of pig tracks all over the show and a fair amount of rooted up areas.Seems like there a few smaller pigs around alright.
Some of the tracks were pretty damn fresh but never spotted anything in the 4 hours I spent looking.

Will be back out at 5ish I guess..

I thought at least a 1907 @Rushy...no pig deserves to die with one of those flip out sks poxy one's...as for which of the ol'sodiers for the bayonet charge, I thought "all" of them...zimmer frames with knifes attached.
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy...I don't know and don't care.

What about the old corrugated water tank with the bottom cut out and a slit down the side, waratahs all around except for where the slit overlaps the other end. pile of dead goats in the centre, gap held open by a low placed stick. Pig goes in for rotten goat feast, cant get back out. More waratahs to hold the sides for bigger pigs. Seen some really big lamb eaters caught this way in Gizzy
