Heard through the grapevine this morning, been raining all day.... Will ask round tomorrow, at home in bed on antibiotics with a throat infection last few days.

The black bk from Dunedin was landing at the rugby ground this morning and knew it wasn't for a medical evacuation so it was either search and rescue or armed offenders dropping in.... Saw / heard it buzzing round a bit so figured there was a search on

    Good outcome.
Good on him to still be hunting at 74 years old.
I hope to still just be living at that age let alone still hunting.

At 74 I recon he had a few tricks up his sleeve ask @Rushy

On a more serious note. Stuck out for the night are you really going to hit the button?

If you are prepared then I would not. I'd only hit it in an emergency! Not for a miss navigation, if that is what this was.
That island can sure twist you around. Lucky I had plenty of training before going there. That was back in the days of compass and map.
I guess I'll need to retrain on gps
