I think its brilliant we have multiple hunting programs on NZ television.
The general populace might remember that hunting is in our blood, its essential for game management, its good exercise, its not cruel and its providing organic meat for our families.

The responsibility of all those on TV is to remember that. The general public might not remember a good shot, or a hunters first deer in such a program - but they will remember a gut shot, badly injured, blood and splatter everywhere type event
