Hunters Club - Now on Prime TV

Just a heads up for those that missed seeing the the second series of our show 'The Red Stag Timber Hunters Club' on SKY Sport earlier in the year, Prime TV are now replaying the whole series on Saturday nights at 10.40pm. Tonight's episode is our Pig Hunting show from around Ward. We had a huge response from this one, so I'd encourage you guys to check it out if you haven't already.

    Cheers...

Yeah, bit of a bugger, but hopefully enough people tune in so that the programming folk at Prime in Auckland can get a grasp on how popular hunting is here in NZ. Most people are viewing using a recorder these days though so it's not all bad.

Where is that Tim Barnett from? There was a Tim Barnett next door to me a few years ago. If its the same one I'm going to ring his old man and tell him to give him a hair cut!!!!
    Bloody kids today.
    Pretty sure he said Nelson

He should keep the same shirt on for better continuity.
I don't usually watch any hunting shows if they mention Pigs, but this one was very different to the usual stuff and I found it worth a look.

Sorry for the delay. Working on it now, hoping that Prime can make it available for free on the SKY Go platform. Would just mean registering your details before the content can be viewed, but at no cost. Check the SKY Go site in the next day or two and you might be in luck.

    Hope that helps...

    Episode Detail?

Is it possible to find out what forthcoming Episodes of Season 2 will cover? Prime's on-line TV Guide only seems to project ahead for the next 7 days.

And looking at Prime's TV Guide for this Saturday (today is Tuesday), it doesn't seem to have updated - it still shows that the scheduled Episode will be about duck-shooting, which is what it said for last week's Episode (unless of course there is a double-Episode on duck-shooting).

    Great show!

    Sure thing.

    Monday 14th -
Ep 4) Whitetail Bowhunt Part 1
The rifles are left behind this week as bowhunter Tim is joined by good mate Hardie on a return trip to Stewart Island, with the aim of settling a little unfinished business from our first series – trying to nail an elusive Whitetail Deer on Bow.

Ep 5) Whitetail Bowhunt Part 2
More fun and games in Big Kuri Bay this week, as Tim sets himself the particularly tough task of bush stalking a Whitetail deer, before donning the neoprene to take advantage of Stewart Islands bountiful seafood stocks.

    Ep 6) Hard Yards Chamois
Anto and Andre battle some particular rugged conditions in the Southern Alps in an attempt to topple a trophy Chamois Buck. But, as they find out, things don’t always go according to plan…

    Ep 7) Hogs & Dogs
We’re back with Tim and his dogs again this week, in pursuit of a big boar in the Blenheim backblocks. After a close encounter on the first evening, things turn a bit frantic as both pigs and dogs make life hard for hunters and crew alike!

    Ep 8) North Queensland Bowhunt
Temperatures soar as Andre joins up with his Ocker mate Adam and head into the remote Cape York Peninsula, on a mission to chase down some mean Aussie hogs with bow & arrow

    EP 9) Filling the Freezer
We’re joined by a few new faces this week as the Hunters Club team head out into the hills around Kaikoura in search of some tasty meat for the freezer, with Goat, Deer, Pig and Wild Ram all on the hit list.

Ep 10) Winter Bull Tahr Epic
In the climactic hourlong series finale, the team venture into the remote Southern Alps as part of the annual Tahr Ballot, in the midst of one of the most severe cold snaps in New Zealand’s history. Their aim - to topple a trophy Bull Tahr in full winter coat.

Thanks - but you start with "Monday 14th". Don't you mean Saturday 12th, seeing as your show is on Prime TV on Saturdays ...?

Cheers. Prime have got the on-demand service sorted now too, so you can view all the eps (even if you're not a SKY Subscriber) after they air here - http://www.skygo.co.nz/product/1115616.aspx
