I'd say it's more about where things are going now.
Not the technicality of trying to access public land as such. Rather the mega rich buying up the prime private big land blocks and cashing in on the public land. And litigation around it.
As in it's a trend that's just going to continue to grow from the base we're at now.
The difference will be American states value and protect their hunting resources. Nz 1080’s theirs. So any private landowners ability to cash in on the animals coming from public land is minimised?
