Meanwhile our hunting season is pretty much over. Had some great time in the mountains.
In early November we got some crazy amount of snow even at low altitude. Made hunting physically tough. But it made the animals spend a lot of time in the open so that most hunts turned out successful. A lot of meat in the freezer.
But the season's highlight definitely was earlier in the year when I was finally able to take a chamois doe that I had already known for more than 4 years. Not very tall but extremely wide and massive. 16.5 years old.
Some more predator hunting during the next weeks. And then off to NZ...![]()
