WOW that looks great. only $1 too expensive, (leaving 500,000)
that price actually looks pretty good these days.
Oh shit. How to open the conversation with the missus! Sent her the link. Ha ha ha ha this is about to get interesting.
Such a shame its on the wrong island
buy with 10 together. Setup a dayprice hunting fee for each and bob is your uncle
Watch this guy, he's wanting for himself lol
What proportion of the deer/pigs shot on that property are likely to be done so by or with the approval of the owners/occupiers?
so they need a livein/on game keeper to keep posum numbers down to near zero...rabbits n hares the same.. may as well predator trap at same time, and be there to keep hoons n poachers away..... build them a decent place to live in and a salery enough to top up pension and the forumites will be fighting each other for the job.
the big thing missing with this block - big numbers of fallow and reds say the add- okay have a good look at the photos- where is the feed to support that claim - answer its not there
You'll need more than 1 gamekeeper in that area, fence lines don't mean much
Unfortunately this is true.
About 16 years ago we looked at buying a farm about two valleys over from there. Fertile front paddocks and good deer holding bush at the back. Got really keen until we met a neighbour as we were driving out: said for every 3 animals you put on the truck to the works, one animal will leave the back of the farm on horseback...
For that kind of coin and the hassle of owning land,
It's way cheaper to pay someone for a hunting guide.
Much, much cheaper to get a free DOC hunting permit and go where ever you want to on government land.
How ever, it's all been on here before?
So you spend your 1.5 million from the sale of your expensive house and buy a working sheep and cattle farm with wild deer on it....Nothing wrong with that.
Or you buy your proposed hunting business venture...Then what percentage of business hunting gurus will make it financially viable ?
Youd be surprised, We have thousands of deer and only 100 odd hecters of grass its amazing how much country like that holds part our place is recently harvested part of has being replanted parts getting logged and parts native very sinilar to that block but larger the deer are still well feed and all the grass is off the driveway
