I thought the Mamaku's were worse than the Kaimai's for finding a deer
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy...I don't know and don't care.

A good number of reds held in the Kaimais with the odd goat been seen. Pigs cover the Kaimai Mamaku in good numbers .Two good reds were taken were taken west of Duncan meat works .The old deer has been picked up on the railway track from Putaruru to Rotorua . Belk road Omanawa rd has the old red seen in the gullies, Old Kaimai road produces deer just of the road edges and around the lookout areas .The Matamata areas of the Kaimais produces good deer number if you can get access from the farmers. Most of the farmers will give you access if you ask and there can be some rabbit shooting there as well

    Good Luck
