Welcome to the forum David. Plenty of young hunters from Auckland on here. I am sure that it won't take long to met some of them.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

You thought about joining the deer stalkers, im in north auck, but don't turn up too often, good group of guys and they plan a few trips though the year, plenty of shooting comps etc as well

Welcome to the forum David, as Rushy says there plenty of young keen hunters (and a few old ones) in the Auckland area, you should be away soon.....good luck....

Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Howzit David - love the disembodied hand on your shoulder hahaha.
I'm glad some NZDA (ADA here) branch's are alright. In the one I was in the only thing people brought was a ruler...to measure their penises. No one would help anyone, only wanted to brag about what big heads they'd shot or see what other people had shot so they could try to worm out where it come from to hunt there themselves. Great group of blokes!
That's why I hunt for myself these days, but it is good to see that it can work.
David, get amongst the forum, contribute and get to know a few lads and I'm sure someone would be interested in having a hunt with you.
