Thread: Hunting, fishing, diving the marlborough sounds

Got the opportunity to go on a yatch trip the the marlborough sounds for a couple of weeks, I know the roar is about wrapped up but I'd still love to have a hunt around. Bringing the gun and the bow and hoping to find some deer and pigs along the shore or do a couple day hunt in the hills too. Never done anything like this so I'm hoping to get some insight on ways to better our chances, places worth checking out (hunting, fishing, scuba diving, spearfishing and sightseeing related) also wondering what species inhabit the sounds!
