Thread: hunting in the kaimais

The tracks into the Kaimais' are access points only...certainly you will see sign on the tracks but the chances of actually finding one on a track are slight at best. The deer in the Kaimai Ranges are generally between where the Hamilton/Tauranga crosses to the South and Tuahu Track to the North. The slip faces on the Bay of Plenty side would have more deer on them than anywhere. Get up there and have a look for yourself, there are plenty of deer in the park.
