hey all im on holiday now and im wanting to go into the kawekas for a hunt with a mate but im quite new to hunting the kawekas and was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice for hunting during weather like what's the best huts to stay in etc and whats the best way to hunt these areas.

It’s winter so don’t hunt high exposed areas and focus on medium - low areas with shelter, sun and feed. Sika are susceptible to the cold, particularly wind so if it’s windy look in places where they will be sheltered from it. There’s so many different areas and different ways you might attack that area.
