Hunting near Featherston
Hey guys,
I've just moved to Featherston (South Wairarapa) 6 months ago and am really keen to get into some decent hunting around here. My wife and I have an 8 week old boy so it's a bit hard to get out at the moment as much as I'd like (Especially coming into the roar!).
I'm really keen to capitalise on the time that I do get to head out for so wondering if anyone would be willing to pass on some local knowledge and help me out with some areas worth checking out or areas that are not worth bothering with. Or if anyone is looking for someone to go hunting with I'd be really keen to come and learn what I can and help share the load on the way out

Are the spot x books really worthwhile? I've always assumed that once they are published the areas would get hit pretty hard and not be so great anymore?

Nah maye they are great, grab a book, have a read, strap ya boots on and go
