    Hunting Opportunities or Guide needed

Hi Guys, my son and I are in NZ from 23rd June to 10th July supporting the British Lions. We are planning to tour both North and South Island. We are both experienced hunters and would love to get a taste of NZ hunting whilst we are over with you. We haven't got deep pockets so big trophies are not on the menu but some management hunting of any sort would be great.

Can anyone help us out or point us in the right direction?

    Many thanks

    Ian & Oli

If you give us an idea of your schedule (strongly some kiwis don't know the lions tour by heart) some people on here might be able to sort something out.

Do you have outdoors tramping / hunting clothes, gear and boots? Don't need to much for a day hunt depending where you go.

If you make the south island west coast I can organise a day hunt or 2 for chamois or thar.

But I am a huge All Blacks fan and could be quite irritating if we are beating yous😆

Yeah. I can. PM me, if you can. I can do an accomadation package with transport to Hurricanes game and a hunt on the afternoon of either Thursday or Friday. I can also drop you to and pick you up from train for test on Saturday.
    Or just a hunt.

Check out te awaiti hunting adventures. They do some very reasonable meat hunts. Tora is also an amazing part of the country. I used to spend a bit of time out there surfing when I was a student at Vic.

It occurs to me that I have exposed myself to being taken extremely out of context

Sorry Onehunter I have to withdraw my offer as I have just found out that I may have a couple hunts scheduled up to mid July.

Weather dictates everything down these ways.
I am sure you will get looked after. Good luck.
