I also own copies of both books but the bastard refuses to sign them for me
He probably knows you would just sell them on Trademe for more money ten minutes later
:D:D
What's this second book you talk of, I only own one.
I'd like a 94 in my safe.
Put that beer on hold! I could only manage 2.2 seconds for 3 and thats starting with one up the spout and that was after a couple of dry firing practices.
Come on guys heres a challenge
Youtube Ruby Redsmoke - Kiwi shooter in SASS. She's also the womens world champion Cowboy Action shooter. Prob beat that score easily.
The world Mens champion Spencer Hoglund (lead dispencer) is way faster. Watch his lever action speed at 2.00 in the vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3_kKr9RdQ0
He shoots a short stroked '73 with light .38 loads. His loads just go over the power factor. Not taking anything away from him but even a standard '73 is faster than a '92 which is still faster than a '94. The man is lightning quick though, he could shoot three or four stages in the time it takes me to shoot one.
its as accurate as most any .30 caliber cartridge . .. but you shoot it in a platform with 2 barrel bands pulling the barrel down and with a crap trigger you will get a reputation for crap accuracy . . . . especially if all the experts keep drumming it in as a fact
tune the rifle and load and you will go well past 200 yards . . . if you want to
every man should own at least one leveraction . . . my 2c
I hate lever actions :omg: That is all
Some practice has got my time down to 1.8 seconds with the 98, but a mate has a rossi in 357 shorter stroke so may give that a crack bloody hot already so that beer would be good.
Favourite bush gun, flattened some big Urewera stags over the years and never had to chase one! Found that Silvertips tend to go straight through Jap deer, mainly I think because they never very far away!
Haven't found anything that kills em any Deader!!
