I couldn't bear the pain of having it done. You guys must be tough - or doesn't it hurt as much as I imagine?

when ive had mine done it felt like bad sunburn
cheers @Gibo
I going to try and breathe a little life back into this one.
Love to see what you fellas/fallesses have.
Im trying to decide on a tattoo/artist for a tat.
Im after a Tahr and stag on a alpine background.
I think my apprentice hunts butterflies. He has a large butterfly on his lower back.
Ive got a bit of time to come up with a design as I'm planning on getting it done at the tattoo expo in New Plymouth later in the year.
It would be nice to see whats out there  and no, not butterfly bandits :ORLY:
@madmaori that tat of yours get finished in December?
Got a boar added to it......then had enough for that day so stag didn't get the final touches , booked in again for may I think to get the upper arm done with a mountain theme/tahr/chamois and if we have enough time will get the rest looking all pretty....if not have to book another day
haha , will get the wifey to take a pic and throw it up , its in a cunt of a place to photograph myself
Hah. Not that I'm ant-tattoos or anything...but I used to tell my boys that if they ever came home with a tattoo I would scrub it off with pumice.
My lads have in turn made the same threat to their own children (my grand children).
So @madmaori just thank your lucky stars you are not my son  :)
You must be anti tattoos to say that :wtfsmilie: not that I'm anti, anti tattoo people :P
Tahr it is funny the things that have a lasting impression on a young fellah. I am not anti tattoos but I don't have any (even given that I spent two years in Singapore as a young soldier). My old man had a tattooed likeness of an old girlfriend on his right forearm and frequently told me when I was young that he had regretted getting it done. He repeated this often across most of his life. I attribute my not wanting to echo his regret to my never having bothered.
[QUOTE=Tahr;701618]Hah. Not that I'm ant
haha you would hate to have me as a son then , I have a few of them now.......mind you the family discount on tyres might make you reconsider.......what do you reckon dad , you want me as a son now
I thought tatts are just something you get in prison ?
Current research from USA is that the ink in the tats does more damage to to body that you can imagine as the body is always trying to get rid of the ink out of the epidermis.
wheres this pic madmaori?
