Hunting Rotorua

Looks like I got a long weekend to kill in Rotorua 31st-2nd September.

Would love to take a rifle and have a look at bagging a Wallaby or two while I'm there.

I tried to get onto a Landcorp farm that I used to hunt back in the 80's out Rotoma way...... got the big "No" :oh noes:

If anyone could point me in the right direction i'd really appreciate it.

Could reciprocate with a Goat Hunt or a Personally Gudied Tour of the Ruahine or southern Kaweka in return.

Go too DOC and get a permit for the Lake Okataina reserve I had a blast there years ago,was going to write my story up that got published in the NZ Wildlife Magazine but good things take time.:ORLY::thumbsup:Good luck!! Let us know how you get on.

Yeah I've hunted there too.

Always worth a look.

Was thinking more along the lines of a night shoot on private land.

Doc dont take to kindly to folks spotlighting reserves these days.
