    Hunting Southern France

    Hey guys and girls,

I'm after a bit of info if anyone has knowledge or experience.
I'm heading to Europe for my honeymoon in June. Long story short, I've got a few days to myself in Bordeaux and wondering what hunting options might be on offer. I know hunting in that part of the world can be an elitist sport only for the very rich so it might be cost-prohibitive but thought I'd ask on here.

Being my honeymoon I won't be taking any gear so will need tree full deal. Am I trying to push shit up hill with a rake or is it worth looking into?

    Cheers,
    Adam

    @Friwi aide mon ami Dorkus.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Hi Dorkus,
When is your honey moon? Hunting is closed from march till beginning of may depending on the area of France.
Then roe deer stalking is on. As a foreigner you can get a licence for up to 9 consécutives days of hunting into the same area.
The hunting organism is the Organisation Nationale de la Chasse or ONC
I am not sure if the licence is issued by them or the local Prefecture.
I don't have any contact around Bordeaux for roe deer hunting but I have some in the center of france.
If you give me your dates I may be able to give you more informations.
