I just don't take a rifle. Guaranteed to see something at least. Lol.

Seriously though I don't really have any and do ok.

I have an old Huntec swanni I bought early in 1995 with a my first pay from a job I had on a diary farm. Its getting pretty thin now but I reckon I'll keep until it falls off. I tried to hunt with a replacement just once and it didn't feel right at all. Someone ended up with a bargain on a new top. Probably more sentimental than lucky.

1/ never full load the magazine. 3 rounds in a 5 shot mag.
    2/ never sling-carry a rifle.
3/ knife always on left side, plb on right
4/ One bullet always in my right pocket.

    Dont ask me why.

    Sunblock is deer repellent.

my few public land deer have all been shot when i forgot sunblock. Yet to shoot a deer while wearing sunblock.
But me being a ranga not getting burnt is a high priority..

Don't sharpen my knife before a hunt. Always do it after the hunt.

Yeah I've seen the photos of you. It would appear you have ten of everything when it comes to hunting gear
