My cousin just recently shot a stag, straight through a 5 inch live tree, the tree was about a metre from the stag. I reckon it must have been hard enough to prevent the projectile from breaking up within the tree. It hit the stag in the chest and rolled him.

I was just lucky I was wearing my favourite flano ...its now my lucky flano
