    I'll clean up after you.....

To the useless, wasteful f***ers that left all their rubbish beside the road out past the Kohi Saddle out back of Stratford; don't worry, I brought your plastic and foil home.
As for the dead wild pig and guts you left on the side of the road, that's still there.....

Why would anyone waste something they'd shot? I doubt it was pighunters as they would have gutted the pig in the bush. No one carries out an un-gutted pig....
I'd say it was (probably 2 people going by the 2 heat and eat meals left behind) spotlighters illegally poaching the road and maybe got surprised? Why else would you leave the pig beside the road. The only positive is that it's a remote road.

It's dickheads like this who make it difficult for genuine hunters to find places to hunt on.... Rant over........

I'd say spotlighters. No pig hunters would carry an un-gutted pig out of the bush. That road gets poached a lot......

@Mohawk .308 Thank goodness you don't see that around here. I think it's more of a big city "I have to show off to everyone that I'm a wannabe Barry Crump". You do see the occasional pig/deer on the back of a ute/trailer when someone stops for a feed.

There was a vid on one of the FB pig hunting pages of some he-man tosser trying to walk into a KFC with a black and tan boar on his back.... Sheesh, and people wonder why hunters get a bad name. The piss poor thing was that the reaction on the page was about 50/50 for and against what he did.... Should have been way higher for the "against" reactions

    Kohi saddle…

I lived out in the Strathmore Saddle for a bit and also lived up the Kohi ( inland from Waverley).

The kohi saddle has me stumped..???

On the road to Aotuhia then. The saddle with the DOC house on the right, and the private driveway on the left? Looking east that is.

Well @bumblefoot, do you know the guy who lives on the last farm on the western side of the bush block before you get to the saddle? The one with all the interesting homemade “no shooting” signs.

    Maybe you are that guy!
