Interesting time stalking a deer yesterday

Had a cool wee stalk / interaction with a deer yesterday. Have had this type of thing happen on many occasions with deer, tahr and chamois.

My first deer with the bow was similar, I was spotted by a group of deer at 60 metres, but had one walk into range to check me out as I tucked up against a rock.

Even as a 'expereienced' hunter things don't go as planned. I know exactly what I did wrong in this case, it was a simple case of me being too confident and clumsy as a result.

Threw the video in here instead of magazine section as it might help give a few tips to a learning hunter.

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

To good,Josh.I always reckoned, you find Deer with a bow,the hunt is just beginning.Find Deer with a rifle,it's usually over.
Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

    Excellent viewing.
