In degrees or altitude? Topo will show you contour lines in 20m increments.

    hmmm... altitude I think.
It was a map when I click on a track, it tell me how long is the track and how altitude changes in the track.
Show a diagram of altitude change.

Did it show the altitude in profile?

I think google earth can do that once you have drawn a track on it.

Garmin's Mapsource software may be able to do something similar too.

When you find out let me know too.

    Cheers

One of the Tramping websites has this function

I always use Freshmap to produce track profiles. Then I can decide to find an easier route

I was thinking of going to Wairere falls (from spot x).
But I realized I went there a few times with family for a walk and I don't think it will be a good place for me to carry my bow around. So I am thinking of Te Tuhi track

    Good on ya GNAR.

    That's how it's done.

And I'm sure you will find some places too.

    Cheers
