    Join Terry Austin, seasoned hunter and member of the
    New Zealand Deer Stalkers Association, as he shares his
    knowledge and experience of hunting in the Selwyn District.
    In this session, Terry will share what hunting opportunities
    Selwyn offers — from rabbits and hares to pigs and deer —
    how to hunt safely, where to go to maximise your chance of
    success, and how to process kai for your whānau.
    16+ years.

    I would not believe anything that Bas$^*@d says , especially if a Field Mattress is involved ( of the appropriate size of course).

    I agree it could be clearer, but I suspect they didn’t put “Rolleston library” as the venue because that is not the name of the venue. The building doesn’t appear to have a dual Māori/English name.
    Sounds like it would be a worthwhile event to go to, but I’m away unfortunately.

    I went along to this event. A reasonable turn out tonight but thought there would have been more people, it was a shame it was age restricted to 16+. Terry spoke very well and provided a lot of useful information without giving too much away in regards to the best hunting areas.

    They are trying, and its good for our sport.
    It was only 5 odd years ago booksellers were pulling hunting mags from their shelves and anyone who had anything to do with guns or hunting were persona non grata.
    So this is good to see.
