    I’ve got the current iPhone and as soon as I’m out of coverage it shows a satellite image and prompts me too send a message if I want. I spend a heap of time out of coverage and in the back country. Haven’t tried it as thought it was through an emergency Center. I message the Mrs with the inreach if I’m staying out another night etc but it can be bloody slow.
