    Josh James Thermalling???

Did anyone see the short Video, possibly instagram where Josh James mentions the Thermals and how "easy" it was.....

Whats your Take on this? is there more to the Story, or have we lost another Good kunt to the pile of Sh!t K>nts ???????????

Can anyone confirm if he was on a Private land parcel? station perhaps?

would love to know what Genuine recreational hunters think of this influencer spurking about Thermal an how easy it is

ok for ME personally....as a control tool, fair enough go for it,same as using a whirly bird, not sporting as such, but a efficent way to reduce numbers quickly when other methods fail.....on private land, well its legal and its effective so why not....
on public land...yeah nah....play by the rules and leave the playing field levelish.....already the semi open front country is becoming less of game magnet in just a short few years.

I watch a few of Josh's video's, haven't seen that one yet. I know a couple of guys that are reasonably good friends with him and from all accounts he's a pretty standup guy. Im not particularly fond of thermals or some thermal users cos I know of a few that choose to drive our road and pick off the good stags and then go back home and gloat about it. But I have also worked with guys in pest control and thermals are an amazing tool. To the point I would like a good handheld one so Im not the only kid on the block that hasn't got one. Have a good mate that bought himself a good handheld, like these things are bloody expensive! and he uses it in the daytime for wobblies. Picks a good high shooting point finds a wobbly and shoots it. Then he's patient and uses the thermal to find all its mates hiding in the matagouri and snow grass. When one moves in to view he shoots it. Cleans up heaps of them just by working smarter. So they do have there place.

Is that the other guy who got the bigger size ??

Josh's F up was I believe in the Buller region and he got caught fair and square
Bit silly - no - actually totally silly/stupid

He pushes the limits - but he is a likable rouge
He is also a clever purveyor of the outdoors etc etc

Theres heaps of youtubers and instagram hunters that thermal. You’d be surprised at who use them while marketing themselves as people who don’t
