Again who really cares. If you cant shoot a deer in this day and age with or without a thermal find something else to do. They need culling. I couldnt give a toss if someone chooses to use one on public land. Its their conscience not mine .
I care if people use them on public land because it’s a safety issue, like spotlighting. DOC don’t care if it gives you an advantage over the animals, the potential for someone to get killed because of failure to identify the target is why they aren’t allowed.
