    Don't agree with that nelpop shot a hind at the top of the steps only about 400M back to the truck I've also chased a boar one night coming out from the "blade" All I can say is that kaimai deer are where you find them

    Hit thompsons track yestyrday..from manawaru side..walked up to where the track is blocked off..saw a single clean deer print. Turned back around and took the other track that forts off to the right towards the young pine, sat down for a bite and a glass round and saw 2 hinds run out of view...my bloody hiking boots fell to peices and I had a long sore walk out

    I thought that the one legged deer had been shot a while back...good to know he/she is still pogo-ing around...sorry I missed seeing you...cheers for the cider.
