@Spook man that sucks. what's all this activity doing to the deer ,surely they'd get scared into a new area? would it alright for me to walk up there via the main track or do I need to go up through the bush as to not annoy the workers up there?
Deer/goat typically don't mind logging, it often drops food down to their level and new low level shrubs and grass in the following seasons.
The goats at work come out at work come out about 20mins after the guys knock off here and regularly walk over the skid sites
The Biggest Room is the Room for Improvement
As @Barefoot says, the deer are not too worried about the logging and with the earth torn up and the smashing of the under growth they will come out to play on the skid sites in the evenings...many times the loggers will tell you of deer walking the area that has just been felled.
The main track is signed off limits to all but those with permission to be there during work hours...if you want to go up there, you have to be in and out before and after their work hours...the hours of work have been posted on the forum at some time in the past...still plenty of area for hunting without going near the logging...as I have told you before, call by and I will point you in the right direction.
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy...I don't know and don't care.
I wouldn't be too sure about that
