Thread: Kaimanawa Forest Park.

Well, here's a odd post script to the whole kaimanawas dog saga.

Just spent the annual fam trip into the bush. Each year it's a different spot. This year, Tauranga-Taupo.

Been a long time since there was any sign of the last dog. After one was killed the other was never heard of again.
Read in the hut log of a guy hunting the river only to see a 6ptr charge round the corner past him, then the two dogs. Also found 5 dead deer along the river Bank.

Either way, it was a long time ago and glad the f*ckers are gone.

Bugger me, down by the gorge there's dog prints everywhere. No sign of humans. Block has been empty for some time. Poaching extremely unlikely as it's a third the way into block and you pass the 10klm of quality hunting to get to that point.

I saw doc's trap in near Cascade hut which is wired so 7t can't go off.
Anyway, heres hoping this one dies a death soon as well.
