    Kaumira / Mount Nimrod access

The farm I had sorted for a wallaby hunt this weekend fell through due to the weather. So I went and scoped out the Mount Nimrod DOC block in the Haka Valley thinking I might go for a walk there tomorrow. I found a reasonable place for a foot crossing of the river to get into the land. But then noticed 4WD tracks crossing the river. Can anybody tell me how far I can drive after getting across the river? Is it worth it?

you dont drive across river...you park in car park and walk like every body else. the 4WD will be DOC contractors doing trap lines etc. and you would gain stuff all by driving further anyway...its not far. if a fat fella like me can waddle across to hill,a fit young fella like yourself should have no issues.
