About LinkBacksOtutu is pretty nice country, good scope for tops hunting and some nice bush either side for the roar - especially down the Manson Creek side.
You can also drop down and up the other side to the burn under Mt. Meany - some pretty good stag sign in the Manuka regrowth out from the bush edge the last time I was up there.
