Thread: Kaweka Walk Times - Makino to Poronui

Gday all.
I'm after advice from those Kaweka regulars about walk times between a couple of posies I haven't done before or haven't been to in a very long time.
I'm planning a mad dash mission from Makino carpark through to Poronui in the next couple months once temps drop a bit but before it gets really cold. It will be a run with a mate and the dog, no rifles and hope to do it in 12-15 hours ish but there are a couple sections I am curious about. So, what is a reliable 'fast' walk time between Makino hut and Mangatarutu Hut? Same for Te-puke down to Harkness and then same for Boyd to Oamaru. The rest I have done in recent memory and am comfortable with how long I think they will take.
