Thread: Kaweka's

Hey Guys,

So just looking for a few suggestions as to hunting the Kaweka's.
Since my usual haunts have been bombed by 1080 and I can no longer take the mutt for a walk in there till its all gone I'm looking for suggestions about somewhere I can go in the kaweka's for a bit of a change of scenery.
I've only ever been into this range once before and that was into the kiwi saddle area in the spring. Its is a very long drive for me to get there. What would be the closest place in the kaweka's for me to access from taupo? Any suggestions would be appreciated and I may be able to help you with some places to go in the kaimanawa's in return.
