Thread: Kawekas sika roar - which rifle to take?

As keengunNic said the Sika stag when worked up can take lead. I shot a 8 pointer years back with my 3006 with 150 gr Hornady at about 60 odd yards in shoulder,went straight down then jumped up and took off only a short distance. Dug bullet out on offside shoulder.
7 mm 08 might give you a bit more grunt and a faster follow up shot if needed.
