    Kiko road

Hey guys heading into kiko rd later in the week once this wind abates for an overnighter recce. Was thinking of crossing the TT . Am I better to cross as low as I can? Was hoping to head up the ngapuk track to around 1100 then dart off from there but will the TT be a bit gorgy that high? Cheers

Thanks mate didn’t quite go as high as the tops and am aware of the private land. Got squealed at a fair bit but the bush is that dry was very hard getting near them before they hear ya. Was quite tight bush. Met a chap called Adam camping in the car park before I went in and pointed him in a direction to go. Wrote that he’d shot a stag on my ute when we got out. Not someone on here? Be keen to hear the story if it is. Cheers

Bit late now but the TT can be crossed just above the falls and there are a number of places above that and the second gorge. A mate used to cross an OLD fallen beech that spanned the second gorge. It had a very loose piece of #8 wire across it at waist height. He had bigger balls than me.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
