    king country fallows

because i am always out that way, is it worth trying to get a fallow out there, doc says theres hardly any but a few farmers have said there are a few so i just want a third opinion on it.
just wondering has anyone shot or seen fallow out there, if they know if theyre in high numbers or not and how to hunt them in this terrain.
    cheers guys

Deer in the King Country are very hit & miss .They can be there seasonally or temporary, local knowledge and contacts are the key.As for numbers the more they are hunted the less there will be ,but having said that they are not rocket scientists and can be fairly dumb .
Karaka Forest of the State 4 could be a possible place??.

i see fallow all the time plus the odd red but no bastard will let you put a crosshair on them. to get farm access around here is almost impossible you can live here 7 years and still not be regarded as local.
