Thread: Knife Belt or no knife belt?

I have always worn a knife, ammo pouch and a few extras on a belt when hunting. I have a couple of mates that keep it all in their day packs and if a belt is used its only to keep their pants on and this seems to extend to other hunters I have met. I noticed in another thread about PLBs best kept on the waist, so you will not become separated from it in the event of a mishap, which makes absolute sense.

Is there a change in trend with the new age hunter? Who still bucks the trend a wears their knife on the hip?
