Thread: Korohi Bivvy / Rangatikei hut.

I've done at least three trips in there in the roar, I've got close friends that hunted it for about 10 years straight so they guided me a bit.

I'm an impatient hunter so went for the tops. The tops on the western side are the best, easiest way up is the ridge/spur to the south of the Hut, you scramble around a steep part from the Hut to get to the spur without crossing the creek and come out on a beautiful plateau.

My mates always hunted the bush and did well, take binos so you can look through the layers of the bush. The eastern side of the valley seemed to be the easiest to bush stalk.

Don't expect big heads.
