    Kuiu pro 2300 v 3600 packs

    Hey team
Looking at these two packs and can’t decide if the 3600 would be a bit big and niggly for bush stalking. They seem to have a narrow profile and able to cinch down quite well, anyone have any experience with either?

I use a 4000 and just tighten all the straps for a day pack as it doesn't matter what bag the gut belt and frame stay the same size so not worth worrying what size bag on it.

I've got the 2300 (~40L) and its perfect as day pack. Fits on same frame as my 6000 so when on multi-day missions I pack the 2300 with all my day hunt gear inside the 6000 bag alongside sleeping bag, tent, sleeping mat, food, cooking gear etc. Then just switch out the 2300 onto the frame once camp is set up. Works a treat.

I have a similar setup but with the 5500 LT and do exactly this too. I have also found that in a pinch you can cinch down the 5500 pack for day hunting / stalking and its not much different than running with the 2300. The advantage with these Kuiu bags is that they are tall and slim down heaps with the straps so are pretty good for bush stalking.

Thanks fullas that’s awesome info exactly what I was after. One other question - they look like they stick up quite high do you notice it at all?

I thought the same but they are no worse than other packs.
Not as low profile as a pikau.

I’ve got the 3600 and 4000. I certainly wouldn’t go any smaller than the 3600. Great day pack that also does two nights if you pack right.
