Thread: labour weekend Ruahine tops

Hi there

I’ve been looking at making the most of the long weekend and planning a trip up onto the Ruahine tops. As much as I’d like to get a couple deer out of the trip I just love that country up there. I was wondering what other peoples experiences have been at that time of year? I was thinking either up around Tarn Biv or maybe up through Waipawa Saddle and around some of that country towards Waikamaka and Waterfall hut.
