Thread: Lake Hawea roar

Has anybody been to the Hawea conservation area in the last few years? We've got the Big Hopwood block and are trying to find out if it has had a lot of WARO work done there, and if the animals are lower down in the bush or spread around. Any info would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Waro and AATH hammer hawea area

I've spoken to a friend who is quite familiar with the area, who said there are some good animals there but during the roar they seem to go for the bush edges, so it will be interesting to see what we do. If the Waro are hammering the area, that would explain them heading to the bush.

Just get in the bush with them mate
