Good evening all

I was up at lake Lyndon last weekend revisiting some old haunts from around 8 years ago but saw bugger all, has the place been shot out?

was a good day for a walk anyway and even got the kids up on the hillside which they loved

It's well over hunted now! Had a military exercise out there and there was atleast 5-8 different rifles going for a shoot during the 1 day I was out there

Bugger I had a good spot out there, maybe mid winter there may be something still hanging around a valley.

Only pigs there now.

not a bad thing, bit of pork in the freezer plus need to use the mosin as its begging for a walk back down in the real NZ

Nice! I've wanted a mosin for a while now! They're quite rare these days

There are chamois in there. Got one a year or two ago mate seen agood mob afew weeks ago

I knew it wouldn't be a deer or pig, seen loads of them, never seen chamois but at least there is proof of a large buck hare
