NEXT CLUB MEETING
SEPTEMBER 25
7.30 pm Fish and Game Rooms - Champion Rd. Richmond.
TECHNICAL NIGHT
Session 1: A representative from STONEY CREEK will be speaking and providing information about clothing systems and other gear. Find out what you need to know about advances in fabrics, technical information as well as new products. Have your questions answered.
Session 2: All about KNIVES.
Derek Senior presents information about knives - types of steel to look for, designs and most importantly how to sharpen your knife well.
Bring your knife and have its sharpness analyzed on a special machine. Find where the dull sections are on your blade and have it sharpened. (Go away with a knife that slices rather than cuts . . . like a hot knife through warm butter!) Derek instructs food professionals in the care and use of their knives - so he is used to working with people who want to gain a better edge!* *
SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING:* A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING will be held at 7.30 before the club night. This will only take 15 minutes of the evening and this is required as there have been changes to tax* / charities / Society laws in recent years. Our club was set up over 50 years ago and we would like to change our Status from Incorporated Society to a Charitable entity.
