    Lewis pass/maruia

    Just thinking at this stage. Always wanted to have a look in these areas. Always been put off by vandalism. Has any one heard of anyone's vehicle being trashed lately? Is there safer places to park than others?

    St James carpark is meant to have a camera now, Boyle river cars can be left at the outdoor centre, not sure about the Lake Sumner carpark though

    If youre going to walk into lake Sumner, best bet is park vehicle at Engineers camp where there are houses etc and its only a short walk back down the road to carpark/start of track from there
